The page loads fast enough to keep visitors.
Browser compatibility
The site renders and runs in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Required means a failure there fails the certificate outright. A site with a broken SSL chain, a domain that will not resolve, or a contact form that silently drops messages is not live in any useful sense — however good its SEO tags are.

Every check that ran appears on the record, whatever the result. A certificate showing only its passes would be advertising. Twenty-one passes next to three warnings is what makes the twenty-one worth reading.
You do not have to trust us
Each certificate is signed with Ed25519. Anyone holding the public key can confirm the record has not been altered — including by us, after issuing it.
It expires
After ninety days. Sites change, and a reading taken three months ago does not describe what is live today. A permanent badge would be a lie with a long tail.
It needs proof of ownership
A certificate is only publishable once you have shown you control the domain. Otherwise anyone could mint a badge for a site they have nothing to do with, and the badge would mean nothing.
